"My goal was to detox and lose a little weight. Apparently the detox worked fairly well; the weight was going well through the first two weeks but the third week was difficult to stay on course. However, utilizing what I have learned, I think I've lost about 8 pounds. I want to lose more, but I'm thankful I haven't gained any.
What did I find the hardest to do? Surprisingly, the food wasn't as difficult adapting to as being around people who were not "with the program". Trying to find something suitable to eat with visitors in the house or being a visitor in someone else's home was very difficult. My detox symptom was fatigue all day Saturday after starting the program the day before. Brain wouldn't function, body would move.
What I have learned was enlightening. I realized I was overeating. Cutting down the portions made me feel so much better. I didn't recognize how much of what I ate was making me feel bad. I can now taste the fat/grease in food. Sometimes I can tell how greasy it will taste just by looking at it. I make better choices in what I eat, opting for grilled over fried, fresh when possible, and more vegetables and less red meat, smaller portions, and more water (the hardest part).
I want to continue to develop a taste for more natural/fresh foods, less fats & sweets. I'm drinking less soda and more water. I'm very aware of the size of the portions. All in all, it's been a very positive experience that I intend to continue". Deb H

I'm really glad I did it. It gave me power that I can do it again as well as other things I if I put my mind to it. The headache was the worst detox symptom I had, the first day I felt the worst, wiped out (this is why we start it on a Friday). The last day was hard because the end was in site and I was craving some things knowing it was about to be over.
I had a massage and went to the sauna at the Y-Fortification at one point during the process and had a headache after one, can't remember which-it was maybe in wk 2-more toxins coming out I guess. I had more energy. I enjoyed thinking of things I could eat. I do choose more healthy still now. I haven't gone back to coffee, except occasionally. I liked the shakes, had a little trouble remembering the pills in the middle of the day sometimes. I lost 4 1/2 lbs.
I had trouble with constipation even though I drank plenty of water, still I haven't gotton back to my normal before I started the detox.(I had a poor score on the digestive with the scan) I was eating a lot of fiber grains-cereal, bread, etc. I probably need to do it again, next time I will clean out really good before, try to exercise more-I never did really get to doing that like I was supposed to. I'm still trying to put that in my life routinely.
